JK Boots introduces JK Western

Your favorite bootmakers, now want to introduce you to our wildest venture yet. Welcome to the captivating world of JK Western, where we're blazing a new trail with our line of cowboy boots!

Over the last decade we have built a reputation at JK Boots for crafting rugged, comfortable boots that stand the test of time, favored by the hardworking men and women across industries around the world.

However, even when we were a small mom-and-pop shop, building our classic "logger style" lace-up boots, our loyal customers would ask "will you ever make a slip on style boots?" or "are cowboy boots ever in your future?". And so without knowing how or when, we decided to make it happen.

And so we started dreaming about one day starting a Western brand, one that would answer our customers’ call, and honor the rich history of this great nation that we get to call home.

Our family's own westward journey to America, mirrors the daring spirit of those pioneers who ventured into the unknown, which makes this even more close to our hearts. We arrived here after fleeing the soviet union with nothing but big dreams.

To bring our vision to life, we went straight to the source - leaning on the heritage of the best cowboy boot makers in the world, establishing a dedicated team in the Capital of Cowboy bootsLeon, Mexico, a place renowned for the premium western brands that are crafted there.

Leading this team is Ricardo Kim, our VP of  Supply Chain and Head of Mexico Operations. Ricardo brings a blend of toughness and expertise to the table, ensuring every boot meets our high standards.

With our combined skills, we spent the last several months of sleepless nights sketching, prototyping and testing-- and finally landed on something truly special.

The design magic of JK Western is spearheaded by a PNW native, our CMO and Head of Design, Mikayla Turner. Her unique flair, merges elegance with an edge that gives each boot a distinctive look. Her vision brings together traditional cowboy aesthetics with a modern twist, making each boot not just a piece of footwear, but a work of art.

This creative direction is further enriched by the involvement of our founding family members, John, Tim, and Will. Their in-depth participation ensures that every boot we make carries the essence of our family's values and legacy.

Head of Creative

Every JK Western boot is a piece of art, crafted with meticulous attention to detail. From the choice of premium leather to the final stitch, no aspect is overlooked. Our boots are designed to fit like a glove from the first wear, providing comfort for everyday use and the durability to withstand the rigors of outdoor adventures. We employ traditional bootmaking techniques such as Goodyear welt construction and the use of lemonwood pegs, ensuring each pair of boots is not just aesthetically pleasing but built to last.

We understand that a boot is more than just a shoe; it's a companion on life's journey. That's why we offer our boots in two timeless colors: the deep, rich Black and the natural, earthy Redwood. Each color is chosen to complement the rugged beauty of the West, drawing inspiration from the landscapes that have captivated so many. Whether you're walking city streets or exploring country trails, JK Western boots are designed to be your trusted companion.
